Starting August 12, 2026, our Fanshop will no longer ship to EU countries outside Germany. This is due to a new EU packaging regulation whose requirements aren't financially viable for a club our size. Shipping within Germany and to Switzerland, the UK, and the USA stays available.
On August 12, 2026, the new EU packaging regulation (PPWR) takes effect. It requires retailers who ship to other EU countries to register in each destination country and appoint a paid authorized representative there.
For a Fanshop like ours, that effort simply isn't financially viable. So we're ending shipping to EU countries outside Germany.
What's changing:
Germany: Shipping continues as usual.
Switzerland, UK, USA: Shipping stays available — these countries aren't affected by the regulation.
EU countries like the Netherlands, Austria, or Denmark: No more shipping as of August 12.
We know this is a pain, and honestly, we're frustrated too. We'd much rather keep sending your gear wherever you are — but the cost and paperwork this regulation puts on a club our size just don't add up.
Living in the rest of the EU and don't want to give up your WSV gear? You can have your order sent to a delivery address in Germany — to friends or family — or pick it up from us at the stadium on matchday.
